The Native American Advancement Foundation was formed in 2011 by members of the Tohono O’odham Tribe to deliver academic and health and wellness services throughout the Tohono O’odham Nation in Pima County, Arizona. Through our efforts, we are strengthening Native American communities by providing programs in the areas of education, health and wellness, and opening economic opportunities on tribal lands.
NAAF is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization founded by members of the Tohono O’odham Nation, Gu Vo District, in an effort to help our community advance in the areas of education, arts and culture, economic development, health and wellness, and housing.
As members of the Nation, we have a vested interest and long-term commitment to the betterment of our community. We are uniquely qualified to assist our community as we have a personal understanding of the needs and desires of the people of the District and the Nation at large.
